In 2006, my brother Bruce and his lovely wife, Fay, commissioned me to make a quilt for the cabin which they built on the shore of Lake Huron, in the northern part of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. They gave me plenty of latitude on choice of color and pattern, so I chose the Churn Dash, which I'd used in a previous quilt. The result was a pastel full-size quilt. Bruce and Fay seemed very pleased.
