As of Spring '08, we'd had 50 Japanese host daughters in our home, spanning almost 12 years. I commemorated the milestone with this wall hanging (about 50" X 15"). The top and bottom panels are traditional Japanese art, and the center is a crazy-quilt square made of Japanese fabrics. I presented the hand-quilted hanging to Mark Danner for Father's Day in June. It now hangs in his office at Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute.
