The Grandmother’s Flower Garden was my second quilt, pieced and quilted by hand in 1977-78. Originally, this quilt had a wide red border, but it wore out because I’d used old fabric. I decided a few years ago to cut away the old border and re-bind the quilt with pointy edges. I like the new look!
