Ruth McHaney Danner is a longtime quilter living in Spokane, Washington. She’s a member of the Washington State Quilters Spokane Chapter, as well as smaller quilt groups and online groups. Her first book, What I Learned from God While Quilting, was published in 2000 and reprinted in 2003. It’s now available as an e-book. Her new offering, Making a World of Difference, One Quilt at a Time, was published in November 2015 in both print and electronic formats.  Each chapter presents a person or group who uses quilting skills to benefit others. The author believes strongly in donating quilts to charities and fund-raisers, and she’s done so herself for many years.
